Unleash your aerobatic power
When activated, your SmartPlane Pro transitions into a vertical orientation. Due to its design, the plane starts to rotate on the spot. You can only control the up and down with the throttle. When exiting this stunt, it takes roughly an extra quarter rotation until the transition to helicopter or airplane mode is complete. This stunt can be toggled on and off with the gesture that you assigned to it in the app settings.
Circle Mode (loiter)
When activated, your SmartPlane pitches to a 45-degree angle of attack and starts to circle right. User input is disabled, and the plane tries to hold its height automatically. This stunt can be toggled on and off with the gesture that you assigned to it in the app settings.
When executing the cobra turn, the plane pitches to a vertical orientation and turns on the spot. When performing this stunt in helicopter mode, the Smartplane turns 360 degrees before exiting; in airplane mode it is 180 degrees. The manoeuvre takes 2 seconds to perform. User input is disabled during the stunt.
When activated, the engine is turned off and your SmartPlane quickly glides to the ground. You keep control over the rudder. This stunt can be toggled on and off with the gesture that you assigned to it in the app settings.
Switches back and forth between helicopter and airplane mode. In helicopter mode, your SmartPlane holds an angle between 40 and 60 degrees that can be selected in the app settings. This angle determines the flight speed of the SmartPlane. Helicopter mode is a slow flight mode, designed to be used indoors or outdoors when there is no wind. In airplane mode, the plane holds an angle between 0 and 15 degrees, depending on your app settings. This mode is designed for fast outdoor flights.
When activated, your SmartPlane quickly accelerates to full speed and then executes a loop. Upon finishing the manoeuvre, it returns to its previous flight mode. The whole manoeuvre takes 2.6 seconds to execute. During this time, user input is disabled. Depending on the wind conditions, the plane might lose a few meters of altitude, so give yourself some room before initiating the loop.
The Sail Mode turns the engine off and holds the perfect glide angle to give you the best gliding experience. You keep control over the rudder of your SmartPlane.
The speed boost is meant to give you the ability to fight against strong wind. Once activated, it gives full throttle and pitches the nose down to gain maximum speed. To fly perfectly straight, rudder input is disabled. The complete stunt takes 1 second to perform and it afterwards automatically returns to the airplane mode. It can be used in quick succession to cover some ground.
Performs an automated 180 degree turn in both flight modes. The whole manoeuvre takes about 2 seconds to execute.
